As a bride-to-be, you most likely spend a substantial amount of your time just now taking a look at wedding blogs such as this one and considering ideas.
Particularly should you haven't quite opted for wedding theme at this time.
Maybe you appear at a few of the adventurous themes available (we're considering Game of Thrones, Twilight, Frozen) and convinced that although they look amazing, they are not quite for you personally.
You'd like something a bit more timeless. A little more subtle. A theme that isn't going to make you shudder when you appear at your wedding photographs a couple of years down the line.
This is the reason why a white and gold wedding theme could just be what you're looking for.
White and gold are actually neutrals.
If you are a traditional kind of a bride you will be wearing a bridesmaid dresses in a pale shade - perhaps a white or ivory. And gold goes beautifully by using it.
Have a gold thread woven to your bodice
Wear golden wedding shoes
Have golden ornaments inside your hair
What about your bridesmaids? They could be on-trend with black bridesmaid dresses. Maybe in separates of white and gold or black colors.
You could insert them in long white gloves (begin to see the picture above).
As for the wedding tables, this is when a white and gold theme can come into its very own. Talk about the wow factor.
We're thinking clouds of white flowers around the tables. Delicate golden chairs. Maybe white chiffon sashes or mix things up with metallics
Have a marriage cake subtly brushed with gold leaf. Or in the glamor factor with shiny gold layers.
Gold cutlery and white plates with gold detail. Talk to your caterer or wedding stylist by what is available.
The thing is, you may be as bling or as low-key as you would like to me. You can make your reception seem like the court of King Midas or simply have a whisper of gold within a largely white theme.
Gold calligraphy in your wedding invitations. And gold edges.
Enjoy the look!
